What has been dubbed "The Murman Report" was actually never written by Mike Murman, says Mike Murman, a Lakewood attorney and buddy to Sandusky law director Don Icsman. "I never wrote that report. Don called and asked if he could borrow my name because he needed the name of an attorney to make the report look legitimate," Murman said.
Murman was contacted over the weekend by the Regurgitator for comment on the report. What followed was a shocking discovery: Murman was unaware that his name had been attached to a document that has caused such an uproar in the city of Sandusky. Murman was shocked that his name had been assigned as an author to such a poorly written investigative report. "Given the blatant bias, grammar and punctuation mistakes, a high school student could've written that report for a class on persuasive writing," Murman said, "He probably would've flunked though." Murman added.
This bombshell comes days after Erie County Prosecutor Kevin Baxter informs the city of certain "inaccuracies" in the Murman Report.
City law director Don Icsman challenged Murman on his version of the events surrounding the report. "Everything that Mike Murman told you should be left open to interpretation," Icsman said.
