Several Marysville correction officers have filed a motion to reconsider in the Cuyahoga County court of common pleas in an effort to keep Elsebeth Baumgartner free on her appeal bond. The motion asks that Judge Shirley Strickland Saffold "have mercy on the dedicated workforce at the Marysville reformatory for women" by keeping the disbarred attorney as far away from their facility as possible. "This woman is a social menace," said Donna Gleaton, a sergeant in the infamous "D Block" of Marysville prison. "We only have the capacity to handle 4 or 5 prisoner grievances per day and one plunger to unclog toilets. With Baumgartner in here, we know those numbers will skyrocket," Gleaton added.
