Commissioner's Name Found

Staff Reports

A city commissioner's name, who had been missing for the last several months, has been found on a fund raising letter circulating the city's inner circle last week.

Sandusky City Commissioner Craig Stale's name had last been seen on an internet forum: "Where is Craig Stale?" asked an anonymous forum user, "we elected this guy and haven't heard anything out of him since the election. Is he even showing up to commission meetings?"

Even though the letter containing Stale's name boldly impugned the motives of anyone who opposed fellow commissioner Dennis Murran's political ambition to turn Sandusky into a giant marina, the important thing is that we've finally found Stale's name on something.

Sanduskians are warned not to be overly joyous on this special occassion. "This is a time to remain cautiously optimistic," says Donald Schwinger, a regular commission meeting audience member. "Finding his name on a letter doesn't actually mean he's been around."
