THIS JUST IN: Nuesse To Be Paid While Being Probed

Sandusky City Manager Matt Kline will pay Police Chief Kim Nuesse while he and several other men probe her against her will. Nuesse has been placed on paid administrative leave as of this morning. Kline says that he's treating Nuesse fairly because he's paying her to undergo the discomfort of being probed.

Kline also offered new insight as to the reason for the probing. "We don't think Kim has a very good relationship with the truth. We're going to probe and probe until Kim sees things our way," Kline said.

The Regurgitator still has no leads on which minor/unsubstantiated infraction Kline will use to justify firing Nuesse after the hostile probing takes place. "I'm thinking we'll go with the financial impropriety angle," Kline said. "Maybe say that she is 'spending the department's money improperly' or something. I'm still trying to formulate that..."

Kline is sure that the forced probing will offer positive results. "I've found that the harder we probe someone, the easier it is to get rid of them. If you probe someone hard enough, they leave on their own."
