A local man has announced that he has forgotten what happened on September 11, 2001. 68-year-old Paul Levins of Sandusky explains that he can't remember what happened on that day due to his alzheimers, a disease that causes memory loss. "I'm having a difficult time remembering anything these days. What's your name again? Who are you?"
When asked about 9/11, Levins explained that his local emergency services can be reached by dialing those numbers on a telephone. "At least that's how we did it in the old days," Levins said before asking for a blanket.
According to Levin's daughter Sandy, it's time for Paul's medication. A representative from a local uniformed service shook his head in disbelief when told about Levin's failure to remember. "We all need to remember. Even if we have 'old-timer's' disease."
