A sea of navy, khaki and white flooded the halls of Sandusky High School Wednesday morning.
The first day of school marked the first day the uniform policy was implemented at the high school and junior highs. Many students and teachers voiced approval of the new uniform policy, but not everyone was happy.
Deshonte Jones, a 17-year-old self described drug dealer, is upset that he is unable to wear gang colors and his "phat" new clothes purchased with money from summer drug deals. "[These white folks] got us wearing Johnny B Good clothes up in here. We be lookin' like nerds up in here," Jones said.
Jones reports that he received record profits this summer from crack cocaine transactions. He claims that his financial portfolio is stronger than ever, but voiced dissapointment that he was now unable to wear his new threads to school. "Clothes and hoes is what I'm all about, but these crackas be forcin' me to stop bangin' in my new threads."
Sandusky High School Principal Dan Poggiali was not available for comment.
