Huron students might be saying goodbye to baggy jeans, replica LeBron James' jerseys, mini-skirts and revealing tops. They will be saying hello to the conservative dress of a typical young Scotsman:

There's a good chance a stricter dress code will be on the books in the fall of 2009.
Nothing is etched in stone, but a survey of Huron school staff members and parents indicates they'd both be in favor of the district implementing a "uniform/restrictive dress code." And school administrators are listening. "I like the mix. It's the middle ground between a scotsman and a waiter," said district superintendent Fred Fox.
