Sandusky City Commissioner Dennis Murray managed to raise a few eyebrows during Monday's City Commission meeting when he asked newly hired city manager Asimo the robot if he liked "movies about gladiators." Murray chuckled and then asked Asimo if he'd ever been inside of a Turkish prison, or if he'd ever been inside a men's lockeroom. This isn't the first time Murray has raised eyebrows. He recently told another city worker who Murray had been observing that the worker really "took the bull by the horns."

Members of the black community are upset over a recent vandalism charge against area activist and writer Rudolph GW Sanderson. Sanderson was allegedly caught writing the words "I HATE AMERICA" with red spray paint on a brick wall near the 250 overpass. Sanderson claims that his graffiti is protected under the first amendment and that he really loves America.
